Wales vs Gibraltar
Our journey took us to the historic Racecourse Ground in Wrexham, the oldest stadium in the world still hosting International Football games. It was a fitting way to start our Welsh adventure; even the Welsh weather couldnt dampen our spirits. Thanks to a tip from my colleague Mark, we found a discreet parking spot near a private hospital, making the trip stress-free.
Before the match, we explored the vibrant Welsh atmosphere and dropped by the famous The Turf pub, where Liam spotted the owner, Wayne Jones, from the “Wrexham” documentary. The locals were friendly and welcoming, creating a fantastic pre-game atmosphere.
